Few words about Missak Terzian
Missak Terzian (b. 1949 in Beirut) is a Lebanese-American contemporary painter of Armenian descent. He initially studied at Ecole d’Art Guvder in 1968 and later graduated from the London College of Printing in 1971. Known for his semi-abstract figurative and modern abstract expressionist art, Terzian began his artistic career with his first major exhibition in 1984. Over the years, he has participated in 147 exhibitions worldwide. In 2017, Terzian transitioned to a contemporary approach called modern geometric abstraction, incorporating geometric shapes into his work. Throughout his career, Terzian has continuously explored new dimensions and pushed the boundaries of his creativity, resulting in a unique blend of semi-abstract figurative and modern geometric abstraction.
